Communication students at Xavier are frequently made aware of many prestigious scholarships. The department's supportive faculty and staff encourage students to pursue regional, national, and international scholarships.

Also at Xavier, there's no need to search far for internships. Internships not only offer academic credit, but also allow students the opportunity to become prepared for successful and fulfilling careers. Our department receives daily requests for bright, competent students to serve in the communications field. Students have the oppourtunity to intern in a variety of venues. The Speech Pathology program has a full academic scholarship with stipend for students in their last two years who want to work in the public school system as Speech Pathology Assistants after they graduate.
